The Rubik's Cube of Meeting Planning
Shortly before starting Fusion Meetings and Events, I was asked a question that I had never been asked before: “When you picture a meeting that needs to be planned what are your before and after pictures?” Well, HELLO, people wandering around with nowhere to go and then the after is people networking, mingling, and learning based on the objectives of the host organization. Site Review
Just last month, my staff and I did a pre-conference site at the Gaylord Texan , and I fell in love with the property all over again.
Easily accessible (only minutes from DFW airport), large enough for just about any meeting, beautiful both inside and out - what else could you ask for? A great staff! And, YES, they have that too.
Over the past year, while planning a client's meeting at the Gaylord to be held the last week of this month, I have been overwhelmed by the efficiency and professionalism of the Gaylord Texan's staff. It's almost as if they anticipate my questions before I ask them. Plus, with the exhibitor services company and audio visual company all housed within the hotel, the communication amongst everyone is unparalleled. With such a seamless planning phase, I have no doubt that my onsite experience will be as near perfect as possible.
If you haven't had an opportunity to vistt the Gaylord Texan, I encourage you to do so.
